 About Alice Madness Returns

Alice Madness Returns is an action game that continues the alternate history of Wonderland. After a lengthy stay in a sanatorium, Alice Liddell is discharged and goes home. But her past doesn't retreat, haunting her in nightmares. A search for medicine to ease her pain leads Alice to the Jabberwocky. The enemy pushes her into a vortex, returning her to Wonderland. From this moment on, new dangerous adventures begin, alongside returning heroes: the Cat, the Duchess, and the Hatter. The plot of Alice: Madness Returns unfolds gradually, each time the heroine returns to the real world. In the real world, she can't draw weapons or use her abilities. The linear route takes you through a small town, where several characters appear, ready to shed light on the situation. Wonderland is greeted by monsters bent on killing. Similar to the first game, hit points are replaced by sanity points. Upon reaching the minimum level, Alice enters a state of hysteria, which increases her attack power. Deaths of enemies yield rose petals, which increase sanity, and bones, which are used to upgrade weapons. To protect herself from enemies, the heroine uses an umbrella as a shield. To navigate small passages in search of valuables, Alice can shrink. In this mode, the "Crumble Sense" skill is available, highlighting invisible secrets. Overcoming obstacles is possible through repeated jumps, destroying objects, or activating levers. To receive a reward from the Duchess, you can collect pig snouts scattered throughout the area.
