Fear & Hunger immediately reveals to gamers that they've found themselves in a place dominated by despair, fear, and hunger. Four travelers, lost in the vastness of the world, find themselves here by chance. Now, they must uncover the most terrible secrets of this place. It's hard to imagine what lies ahead, but one thing is certain universal evil dwells here. The dark setting is the main characteristic of Fear & Hunger, complemented by eerie sounds and an equally eerie silence. The gameplay is based on a role playing system. Navigating locations and individual sections of the dungeon, the heroes collect items, fight enemies, and complete intermediate quests. The difficulty of battles is not predetermined, as everything depends on the characters' combat prowess. With enough weapons, potions, and other items at their disposal, they can easily dispatch even a giant many times larger than themselves. The combat system's key feature is the ability to focus on damaging individual creatures' limbs, rendering them incapacitated or at least impeding their movement. Randomized item and mob placement make the experience more engaging, as while some sections were previously easy, the next time they play, everything will be completely different. Furthermore, you can pray to the gods, and this mechanic also changes the nature of the game. For Example, deities can save travelers' lives in situations where it would be practically impossible.
