GORN Overview 

GORN is a gladiator simulator set in the ancient Roman arena. Immersed in the ancient world through a virtual headset, the player finds themselves on a field surrounded by stands and thousands of spectators. The air trembles with voices, and the hot sand beneath their feet makes it difficult to stand still for long. Then the first fighter steps forward, armed only with a gladius. The fight begins. The atmosphere of the battles is excellent: the noise of jubilant spectators, the agonizing cries of dying opponents all enhanced by attractive graphics and a beautiful soundtrack. In GORN, you take on the role of an ancient slave who must survive the arena and buy his way to life and freedom. Controllers become weapons of choice you can't fight much with bare hands, so don iron clad gloves and rush into battle. The arsenal consists of several types of authentic weapons: iron gauntlets, short and long swords, axes, maces, morning stars, and shields. Each type has its own unique damage pattern: blades, for example, sever limbs and pierce the unfortunate; maces and morning stars tear the enemy's flesh with spikes, crushing bones and cracking skulls. Beyond the simple swinging of iron, you can take down your opponent with practically bare hands. Grab and throw barbarians at each other, toss them into spiked pits, or disarm them, perform a grapple, and use a human shield.
