Dragon Age Origins players won't experience a riot of color, stunning gunplay, dazzling special effects, or tons of scripted animation. Instead, they'll experience a fantastic fantasy story and get to personally contribute to its creation. The world the player enters is regularly invaded by demons. These monsters appear to be on schedule, every 400 years. They've already been driven out four times by the Grey Wardens, a secret organization uniting representatives of virtually all intelligent races. Dragon Age Origins captivates with its well-thought-out story and the details of the game universe. For example, each race's chosen class, there are three at the start: mage, warrior, and archer has its own opening chapter. A dwarf prince is chosen, and he finds himself in a world of intrigue and treachery among the high nobility. A short, outcast character is chosen? He will fight his way to the Order of Defenders through a series of humiliations, pain, and universal contempt. Even the story of the city elves is magnificent. The male protagonist will rescue his fiancée from the clutches of the city guard, while the heroine of this people will herself be imprisoned.
Exploring the surrounding splendor is tied to a series of tactical battles. Battles are not turn-based, but the player has the option to pause and leisurely perform the necessary actions: choose who to attack, which potions to drink, or which spells to cast. In addition to the main character, the player will have three other characters at their disposal. They can be controlled in the same way as the main fighter or left to the artificial intelligence. The game features a system for leveling up and interacting with your companions. If you treat them disdainfully and disregard their worldview, your companions will betray you at the most crucial moment.
