GONE Fishing is  a group of players to work together using fishing rods to reel in various species of fish from a large lake. Each fish exhibits unique behavior and resistance, requiring players to take different approaches. The team's shared goal is to collect enough fish to appease an invisible entity that inhabits the water. This task is carried out within a strict 24 hour cycle, as the team must make their offering before nightfall. The fate of the entire squad depends directly on their ability to fulfill this constant requirement. Gameplay in GONE Fishing extends beyond fishing and includes active searching and collecting bait. Players must track and catch frogs, worms, spiders, and bats, each of which reacts differently to the presence of humans in their environment.
